A Metis jigging dance troupe, Chilliwack nimiiyitoohk means" dances together" in Michif. Holly co-leads the group with Shannon Olynyk and they meet at Chilliwack Metis House twice a month welcoming all Community members. Together they learn the old fiddle songs and dances, a genre of metis storytelling that brings us together culturally and socially. The dancers are available for performances at cultural events and Indigenous celebrations. In 2024 they made four separate appearances throughout the Fraser Valley. Dance outfits are both contemporary and traditional and the logo features original artwork by the group members.
